So here are the latest ultrasound pictures of Baby #2. The baby is right on schedule with growth, the tech said the weight is at about 12 oz right now. All vital organs looked great, a healthy growing baby!

In this pic the head is to the left and there is a hand up to the mouth. The baby did a lot of yawning and opening and closing of its mouth (like it was looking for something to eat!)

4D ultrasound is so neat! Too bad this little one didn't want to cooperate and get into the right position to get a good look at the face. The tech managed to get two shots. I think this little peanut looks a lot different than Addison did on ultrasound. But I guess we'll see.

Finally here is a picture of the right foot. I love baby feet!

Its about time I post something!!

Check out my new playhouse!
Just a little static electricity!

Yum! Chewing on toes on a Sunday afternoon!

Yea! Addy has hair, too bad she won't keep a ponytail in!

One of Addys Christmas pics

So its been a while, AGAIN, since I have posted anything. With the holidays and all, I just never took the time to sit down and post.
Life has been good here. We made it through the holidays. Addison had lots of fun opening presents. Now we just have to find places for everything! Actually, now that the tree is down our living room is pretty much back to normal. We had a live Christmas tree again this year. Addison did great with it, she really didn't pay attention to it until I started taking things off to pack away.
So now here we are in January, and boy is it cold!! We actually warmed up into the 20's today! Kinda sad when the 20's start to feel okay!! I just keep telling myself that spring isn't too far away. All the Easter candy is out, spring can't be that far off! :)
Baby Scharlau #2 is doing well as far as I can tell. I started feeling little movements a few weeks ago, and now I am definitely feeling pretty strong kicks. Tuesday we go to the OB for my 20 week appointment. We'll have an ultrasound too, so I'll have 3D pics to share this week. I'm quite excited! They'll be able to tell the sex of the baby with this ultrasound, but we aren't going to find out. We didn't with Addison either. It seems much harder this time not knowing. I just looked through some of the bins of Addison's clothes in the basement, so I am hoping for another girl. We have SO MANY cute little outfits to wear again!!
I'm finally starting to look pregnant and not just chubby. I feel like I have really rounded out in the past week or two. I feel good for the most part. I'm just very tired every night, and have heartburn a lot of the time (which I had with Addison also).
Addy is talking A LOT these days! It's so nice to be able to communicate with her! She's very good with naming animals and other objects. In the past two weeks she has really picked up on naming the colors of things. She gets the color names right 75% of the time! :) She is a very smart little girl, and amazes us every day with the new things that she says and does. She can be very frustraing too. She definitely has a mind of her own and sometimes only wants to do things HER way. She likes to show her independence. We're already thinking about how she'll do with a new baby in the house!
Hope all is well with everyone else!
